Opportunities for prevention of violence against women and children in the Australian Capital Territory

There is already important work underway to prevent and respond to domestic, family and sexual violence in the ACT.

Our Watch presents four key opportunities for the ACT for prevention of violence against women and children:

1. Develop a domestic, family and sexual violence strategy.
2. Build and expand the foundations of primary prevention in the ACT.
3. Expand Respectful relationships education.
4. Focus on preventing violence experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.
