    Over the past decade, Victoria has been a national leader in preventing gender-based violence through sustained investment and reform.

    As Victoria faces growing concerns about cost-of-living pressures, community safety and pressure on frontline services, whole-of-government leadership and long-term investment in prevention must be maintained to continue building a safer and stronger Victoria.

    Prevention has never been more important. Our Watch has identified 5 specific opportunities to build on existing prevention efforts in Victoria that will help create safer communities and stronger health, justice, education and housing systems.
