Across universities, TAFEs and RTOs, workplace respect and equity are central to creating inclusive and accountable environments where all staff can thrive.

About this webinar

This webinar will explore practical strategies for promoting gender equality and embedding prevention of gender-based violence through intersectional approaches in the workplace domain – from challenging discrimination and systemic inequality to fostering workplaces that promote safety and inclusion across all roles and levels of employment.

Aligned with the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence, this conversation focuses on how education institutions can challenge discrimination, advance equality, and build structures that promote respect and inclusion.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • opportunities to advance gender equality via workplace policies and procedures
  • embedding recruitment and promotion processes that actively support and value a diverse workforce
  • supporting leaders to integrate anti-discrimination principles into their leadership development and practice.

This session is designed for leaders, HR professionals, equity and diversity officers, and anyone responsible for advancing respectful, safe, and inclusive workplace cultures across tertiary education settings.
