Jeremy Donovan and Lieutenant General David Morrison AO (Retd) have concluded their tenure as directors of the Our Watch Board.

Our Watch Board Chair Natasha Stott Despoja AO acknowledged their significant contribution to the organisation’s work in preventing violence against women and their children.

“Jeremy Donovan and Lieutenant General David Morrison brought valuable expertise and strong commitment to the Board,” Ms Stott Despoja said.

“I sincerely thank them both for their passion and support.”

Meanwhile, the Board has welcomed Desmond Campbell and John Shepherd as directors (in October and November respectively).

A Gurindji (Southern-Western Desert) and Ngalakan (South-East Arnhem Land) man, Mr Campbell is Consulting Manager at Social Ventures Australia and the former Chair of the Northern Territory Government’s Youth Justice Advisory Committee.

Mr Shepherd is Managing Partner of advisory and investment enterprise Gallus Partners, and a former Non-Executive Director of Brisbane Racing Club.

“Our new directors will bring extensive experience and insight to Our Watch; it gives me great pleasure to welcome them to the organisation as it continues to work towards a future where women and their children live free from all forms of violence,” Ms Stott Despoja AO said.

Kerry Chikarovski, Sherryl Garbutt (two-year term) and Vicky Welgraven (three-year term), have been reappointed.
