A national responsibility – preventing violence against First Nations women

A national responsibility: Actions towards reconciliation and preventing violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women is Our Watch’s first report on the actions we are taking towards reconciliation and preventing violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.

It outlines our efforts to support, amplify and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, communities and individuals that are leading prevention work across the country. A national responsibility is the first of three annual reports on the actions Our Watch is taking towards reconciliation.

Preventing violence against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women must be a national priority. Every individual, organisation and community has a responsibility to be part of driving nation-wide change.

We welcome the responses of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, leaders and communities to this report and the work it outlines.
