Senior Evaluation Advisor

Our Watch is a national not-for-profit, established in 2013 to drive nation-wide change in the culture, behaviours and structures driving violence against women and their children and based in Melbourne.

An opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch team.

About the role:
An exciting opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch Evaluation team. This team is responsible for measuring the impacts of our various primary prevention projects and campaigns. We are looking for a Senior Evaluation Officer to work across a number of collaborative projects including work with young people, parents, the media and sporting organisations.

This part time, parental leave role is currently anticipated to be 0.6 FTE for at least 10 months (potentially up to .8 FTE), and Our Watch is open to job share and flexible working arrangements. We would also support a secondment arrangement, given the shorter-term nature of the role and the opportunity for knowledge and skills exchange this provides with other organisations.

About you:
We are looking for someone with:
  • knowledge and experience of designing and implementing mixed methods evaluations (including quantitative and qualitative data), ideally in education systems;
  • experience in stakeholder relationship management, across government, academia and the education sector;
  • strong stakeholder engagement and partnership skills;
  • commitment to the promotion of gender equality and the prevention of violence against women; and;
  • the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative cross-organisation team.

Please note the closing date for applications is 5pm Monday 29th January 2018

Interviews will be held on the afternoon of the 6th and 7th of February. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted within 1 week of the closing date.
