Senior Communications Advisor - Corporate Communications

Play a key role in delivering corporate communications activities across a range of channels to prevent violence against women and their children.
Our Watch is a national, independent not for profit organisation established in 2013 to drive nationwide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children. 
About the Role
There will be responsibilities for developing, implementing and evaluating the organisation’s corporate communications activity; including publications management, brand management, event management and internal communications. 
There is also the opportunity to provide expert communications advice and support to cross-organisational projects via planning, developing, implementing and evaluating communications strategies that support the organisational objectives.
About You
You will have a strong command of corporate communications techniques with an ability to synthesize complex information which will of course be supported by evidence. 
You will be required to have exceptional project management skills which will see you prioritizing, planning and working flexibly to meet tight deadlines.
Having a natural flare for writing compelling documents is a must and your verbal skills will be just as dynamic, especially when it comes to influencing and negotiating.
Preferred tertiary qualifications include; Communications, Public Relations, Marketing but other areas of relevance will be considered.
You will be enthusiastic about social change and committed to social justice and gender equality. 
This is a fixed term, full-time position to 30 June 2019.
