Human Resources Officer

Our Watch is a national not-for-profit established in 2013 to drive nation-wide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children.

Funding for programs and campaigns for the next financial year have been confirmed and an opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch Corporate Services team. This team is responsible for the provision of administrative, financial, quality and compliance, and human resources support to all staff, management and the Board.

The Corporate Services team is looking for a Human Resources Officer to provide human resources support and advisory services across all stages of the employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for recruitment, retention, performance planning and review, staff development, remuneration reviews, exit interviews, Work Health and Safety (WHS) as well as HR policies and procedures. 

A human resources qualification supported by previous experience in a similar role and well developed verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. 

In this role you will work closely with the Finance Officer who processes payroll and interact with all staff, management and Board members. 

This is a standalone fixed term part-time (0.6 FTE) HR position to 30 June 2019.
