​Senior Advisor, Practice Leadership

Our Watch is a national not-for-profit established in 2013 to drive nation-wide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children.

Funding for programs and campaigns for the next financial year have been confirmed and an opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch Practice Leadership team. This team is responsible for the development and implementation of the Practice Leadership operational plan to prevent violence against women and their children. The team engage existing and emerging prevention practitioners around the country to explore the potential for training and capacity building strategies; then design and deliver innovative programs that engage and educate individuals and the community to affect change.  

The Senior Advisor, Practice Leadership reports to the Manager, Practice Leadership. This role supports the development and delivery of practice tools and resources for the primary prevention of violence against women and their children. 

Experience in project management, training development and delivery, logic models and evaluation frameworks as well as familiarity with evidence-based resource development is required to successfully perform this role. 

This is a fixed term part-time (0.7 FTE) position to 30 June 2019.
