​Manager, Practice Leadership

Our Watch is a national not-for-profit established in 2013 to drive nation-wide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children.

Funding for programs and campaigns for the next financial year have been confirmed and an opportunity now exist to be a part of the Our Watch Practice Leadership team. This team is responsible for the development and implementation of the Practice Leadership operational plan to prevent violence against women and their children. The team engage existing and emerging prevention practitioners around the country to explore the potential for training and capacity building strategies; then design and deliver innovative programs that engage and educate individuals and the community to affect change.  

The Practice Leadership team is looking for a Manager, Practice Leadership to lead a small team to develop and implement the Practice Leadership operational plan. Proven people leadership experience, strong communication skills and experience in all facets of project development and management are critical to success within this role. 

Familiarity with action research methodologies and evidence-based resource development as well as prior experience in leading prevention of violence against women and their children practice at regional, state or national level are essential. 

This is a fixed term full-time position to 30 June 2019 reporting to the Director, Practice Leadership.
