​Manager, Campaigns

Our Watch is a national not-for-profit established in 2013 to drive nation-wide change in the culture, behaviours and attitudes that lead to violence against women and their children.

Funding for programs and campaigns for the next financial year has been confirmed and an opportunity now exists to be a part of the Our Watch Media & Communications team. This team is responsible for engaging people in action to prevent violence against women through marketing campaigns, media engagement and corporate communications.   

The Media and Communications team is looking for a Manager, Campaigns to lead the design, development, implementation and evaluation of high-visibility, national campaigns that raise awareness, change behaviour and engage the community in action to prevent violence against women and their children. 

Reporting to the Director, Media & Communications you will lead a team of Marketing and Communications Advisors to deliver all campaign activity, including campaign strategy, creative development, evaluation, media buy, content marketing and supporting communications. You will work as part of a cross-functional project teams, including working closely with the Policy & Evaluation and Practice Leadership teams to ensure all campaigns are fully integrated across the organisation.

A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related field and extensive experience in developing and managing multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns are essential for this role. Experience in leading social marketing and behavior change campaigns in the public health, community or government sectors is highly desirable. Well-developed people leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication and project management skills are required for this role.

This is a Fixed term full-time position to 30 June 2019.
